Overview
Cablecast VIO Stream Lite is the compact channel-in-a-box for web, OTT, and mobile video, with optional cable playout you can turn on later, in a 2 RU chassis. You host your own library on-premise, with no third-party hosting terms and full content ownership.
What it does
Run everything from a mobile-friendly web interface: 24/7 live-stream scheduling, stream-source automation, turnkey web pages for your on-demand content and schedules, schedule promotion, live-event chaptering, and native reporting on playout and viewers. Cablecast CG is built in for graphic announcements, crawls, a channel bug, and bug text.
Grow into cable playout
Stream Lite generates an H.264 HLS adaptive-bitrate stream for the web, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and iOS and Android mobile. Its built-in encoder ingests NDI, RTP, RTMP, RTSP, and HLS streams plus an SDI input. It ships with an HD-SDI output that can be activated remotely at any time, turning the hardware into a VIO OMNI for cable broadcast. It comes with 8 TB of internal storage; for RAID-protected storage from 10 to 40 TB, choose VIO Stream Pro.
