Cablecast VIO 2 OMNI is a true channel-in-a-box: a single on-premise video server that schedules and automates your 24/7 cable broadcast and carries the same content to the web, mobile, and OTT. You host your own video library, with no third-party hosting terms and full ownership of your content.

What it does

Run your entire channel from a mobile-friendly web interface. Schedule your programming and let Cablecast automate playout, video-on-demand and OTT publishing, graphic announcements, and schedule promotion, then check the results with native reporting and viewer metrics. Cablecast indexes your meetings so viewers can jump to a chapter, and it lets you attach agendas and other documents. Cablecast CG is built in for graphic announcements, crawls, a channel bug, and bug text.

Reach beyond cable

VIO 2 OMNI generates an H.264 HLS adaptive-bitrate stream that delivers live and on-demand video to the web, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and iOS and Android mobile. Its built-in encoder ingests NDI, RTP, RTMP, RTSP, and HLS streams plus an SDI input for live playout or recording, and it outputs both SD and HD-SDI for cable. It ships with 10 TB of RAID5 storage, factory-upgradeable to 40 TB.
