Overview
Cablecast Closed Captioning is a cloud-based, automated captioning service built directly into the Cablecast web interface, with no extra hardware to buy.
How it works
Captioning runs on Cablecast VIO and Flex servers on software 7.4 or later. It transcribes audio live as you play it out, or offline from files already on your server.
What you get
- Live captioning of events as they air, such as a council meeting, sports game, or studio show
- File-based captioning of existing and new shows on your server
- Custom vocabularies for domain-specific terms and proper nouns, to sharpen accuracy
Pricing
Pay-as-you-go by the hour, or save with blocks of 500 or 1,000 hours.
